October War 1973

He participated as part of the Kuwaiti military force sent to the Egyptian front during the October 6, 1973 war. At that time, the Kuwaiti government decided to support Egypt by:

Sending five Hawker Hunter fighter jets from its fleet of eight to Egypt 5.
• Additionally, two C-130 Hercules transport aircraft were sent, loaded with ammunition and spare parts, as part of Kuwait's efforts to support the Egyptian front. This was in addition to the support provided to the Syrian front (Jahra Force).
